Good story but poor audio editing

I liked the story and am a fan of the Curvy Girl Series. Though, I couldn’t enjoy the the audiobook fully because there were:
-long pauses in between sentences and in various places
- obvious changes in voice tone for the same character
-a lot of background noise: door closing, foot steps, whirring noise, etc.

curvy girls can't date bullies

is a good read not enough books about curvy girls in romance. gives a girl who is a little bigger some hope that we can get our own love story. I also like that all the books in this series haves different types of guys that girls dream about

Audio is horrible

Audio in this story is horrible. The pauses, skipped chapters, the noises in the back ground. But the story overall was great

Audio was awful.

I liked the story, but the audio was horrible. There was a ton of background noise. There were several chapters with long pauses within a paragraph. It was hard to listen to at times.

What’s with the long pauses????

The story was ok but it felt a little disjointed and the awkward long pauses between words and chapters did not help. This made an ok book even worse

Audio missing pieces

The audio is missing several chapters. It skips, and there’s an unpleasant static in the background during several portions of the book. Overall, I enjoyed the story. You might want to get the Kindle edition instead, if you want to get the whole story.

Love this series

I love the narrator voice and she really brings the story to life the only issue I had was the sound quality. It sounded like it was recorded in a tunnel. There is also a constant high pitched wearing in the background which wasn’t good for me with my tinnitus.

I will continue to listen to these books as I have started the series that way and really enjoy these stories about strong girls. Thanks for sharing your stories with us all.

narrator sounds bored, story is good

narrator sounds almost monotone and there is no difference in the voices of characters. she reads a little too quickly and it gets hard to follow on occasion.

Good Story But......

I like Corey and Ryker's story, I do, but the narration left quite a bit to be desired. Everything about the reading felt rushed, which made the relationship between the 2 feel rushed also. There wasn't enough time to fully feel what was being said and what was happening, because the narrator moved on so quickly. I also found it a little confusing to follow along at times during the dialogue because all the characters had the same voice, there was no change in the inflection/tone. Also, after listening to the first 5 CGC books, the narrator's voice came off as...nasaly, which was hard to get over.

The story itself is cute, but the same as all the others and super predictable. Girl and guy fall for each other despite all odds, one of them messes up, they break up, there's a grand apology and they get back together.
