Who says using magic is better? Me. I say that. Except my magic sucks. I might be the worst sorcerer ever, and trust me, everyone reminds me. Constantly.

Mageright Academy and Fallsview Finishing School are hosting a summer camp, and I need to go. It’s my last resort. The best teachers will be there for both mages and sorcerers.

If they can’t help me with my magic, it’s a lost cause. I can’t even do the most basic spell. Every time I try, the kids at the orphanage make fun of me. It’s not worth trying anymore.

When I get a letter accepting me to the camp, I can’t believe it, but my first week doesn’t go well. And when I see a column of dark magic attacking kids in the dorm, the headmaster labels me a troublemaker even though I didn’t do anything wrong. When kids start falling into comas without explanation, some try to blame me.
