Great addition to a stand alone series

Poppy is a really interesting character. I was very surprised to find out why she was so different than other trolls! I love that Poppy gave herself pep talks when things got hard instead of listening to her negative inner voice. It was great to see past characters Forrest, Tru, and Story as well as familiar settings like Tully's cafe and Tinctures N Tonics.
I was given a copy of the audiobook for an impartial review. I had already bought, loved and reviewed the ebook!

A Unique and Compelling Tale

Pepper is not your ordinary canned pineapple loving troll she is resilient, quirky, and defiant. This is my first book by this author, but I can tell Pepper had a traumatic childhood by her actions and thoughts. The story and characters are well written and thought out. The storyline is so compelling that I could not stop listening. I had to know what was going to happen next to our little Pepper and her cohorts. This is definitely not my last book from this author. I need to know more about her clan and realm. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

AWESOME BOOK!

Once again Ms Thomas once again has knocked out of the park! I just love Peppers story and I love how past great ladies show up in the story to help Pepper out. I have loved all of Ms. Thomas's books and highly recommend all her stories. I stayed up till around 1:30 in the morning cause I needed to know what happened. Pepper is a troll trying to discover who she is while the bad guys are after her and people who want to help her like a sexy hellhound who's trying to figure her out while thinking he's helping her? Ms Royana the narrator does an awesome job once again bring Pepper and all the characters to life. I sure hope we see more stories about her. I do hope you'll enjoy the story as much as I did.

Loved this book as much as the rest of the series!

This book was seriously amazing! This author and narrator are amongst my all time favorites. The first person narrative from Pepper's perspective was snarky and humorous and an absolute delight! I can't recommend this enough!

good slip in story

Poppy Royanas knocks it out of the park bringing Brogan Thomas 's characters to life. Love Pepper, such a sweetie of a troll, and her super fine tiger shifter. I hope the trip to farie is written, sounds like it would make a heck of a date. loved the pop ins of past favorites, Jodie, Tru, Story, and Forrest, even John via phone was fun. please keep the fun coming! I'm in for all the rides 😃

amazing read as always

Brogan has done it again. i absolutely love her story lines and cannot wait to read more when the others come out! Definitely my favorite author!
