Incredibly redundant

Has Cryptocurrency: 4 Books in 1 turned you off from other books in this genre?

First few chapters are a tome of info; I learned a lot! Next few chapters start to get redundant - but I can appreciate repetition for memory, especially with technical material. But then the repeat just kept going. It went beyond memory by repetition; it started to seem off, like each chapter was written by a different author without consulting each other. Or the author wrote each chapter months apart without noting what he'd already covered. Things like "Satoshi Nakamoto is the person (or people!) who designed bitcoin" or "Blockchain is the backbone of Bitcoin" or the details and uses of smart contracts. I heard any one of these in detail probably 25 times each, no joke. This already keeping in mind there's 4 books in 1 here; the redundancy was unbearable just within the first book! I had to stop at the 3rd. For you math-minded, the information gain in this series is distributed Negative Binomial - like an exponentially decreasing tail of new info, such that by the 4th book there's 0 new details.

Shame. He's a good author, and has a good narrator. Buy the first book only if you're still interested, and be prepared even then for incredible repetition.

No Editing, Very confusing to follow

They need to edit this recording, very confusing, and the book just starts over in later chapters. Save your money!

Bad unedited narration

Bad and unedited narration. The content is very detailed. And all is covered. But probably better to read it yourself...

just okay

If your brand new to crypto, day one.. this book will suffice. If you know the bare minimum skip it.

4 books in 1 is a bit misleading. There is a lot of repetition so it's more quanitiy over quality.

Don’t waste your time

Poorly written and unsupported discussion of blockchain and various crypto currencies - replete with hyperbole and exaggeration - very disappointing.

Terrible

The only book I’ve ever requested a refund on, and that only an hour or so in.

Badly written, incompetently edited and poorly read (though I have some sympathy for the reader who had such poor material to work with).

For a book that is supposed to enlighten and explain, it is convoluted, poorly structured and organised, and in some cases just plain self contradictory or wrong.

The author is clearly not a writer.

Sadly I have to give at least one star.
