While I was busy running around doing some last minute packing for my tropical anniversary cruise, my husband was busy bedding three other women—at the same time. So I did what any other sane person would do—I grabbed my suitcase and took to the high seas, alone.

Here’s the thing. I’ve never been on a plane or a cruise ship. I’ve never left the state of Maine. I’ve never been on my own. I’ve never seen ghosts before either, but that seems to be on the universe’s agenda for me, too.

I’ve got eighteen days to recalibrate, rethink my life, recharge, and eat all the food I can get my hands on. And I might look into a poltergeist pest control service while I’m at it.

Of course I’ll start a travel blog and log all of my adventures for the world to see. Why not rub all the fun I’m having in my cheating ex-husband’s face? I’ll call it Suddenly Single! What a Trip.

virtual Voice Sucks

I couldn't get pass the dry and no emotions in the voice. I only completed book 1 and chapters 1&2 in book 2. I was trying to give it a chance. The story couldn't keep my interest. I hope audible doesn't convert to virtual voice only.

NO more digital voice!!!

The story is lighthearted & fun! I listened to all 3 stories & the voice is absolutely awful!!! I tried so hard to like it, or even be able to stand it, but nope, I definitely couldn’t stand it!!! I’m aware it’s free to do digital voice vs thousands to pay a narrator, but IT’S WORTH IT!!!

Keeps you guessing

I loved this book set and can't wait for the next sets. Great characters and descriptions of the Hawaii islands.

Great story, would have been better without the narration style!

The stories themselves leave room for better character development. However it’s the auto-reading voice that made this whole thing drag forever and painfully. Mispronunciations by the AI gave a face palm to anyone paying attention.

Cute story

With this being done by someone not human, I thought I wouldn’t like it but it actually did the inflections and voices well.
It was a fun and light story. I can’t wait to read more!

Mostly Romance

This is a very fine romance with a very creative and suspenseful mystery. Descriptions of the Hawaiian islands has me mesmerized, and the romantic developments are both tender and exciting.

Horrible AI narration

The story was fun and entertaining. However, the AI narration was so horrible. It was extremely hard to listen to it. Lots of mispronounce names. No differentiation in the different characters extremely hard to listen to.
