Eagerly awaiting book 2!

What a great start to this series!! The world built within the pages was interesting and unique. The characters were compelling and complex. I’m beyond locked into this story and I can’t wait for the next book!

Rae was such a great FMC. She was strong but still so incredibly caring. The storyline with her mates was such a fun read. It was spicy and touching. I loved how different each mate was. I also loved that she had Pax as a friend she really needed. Each of the 4 Kings are so different and I’m obsessed already with Rhys, Kian and Nyx. Torrin is still a mystery but I’m always a fan of a mysterious MMC.

The audiobook is full cast duet style narration. I’m pretty sure Tessa found my list of favorite narrators when casting this one because every last one was amazing! Vanessa Moyen voiced Rae perfectly. Connor Crais perfected his grumpy performance with Rhys. Anthony Palmini voiced Kian and his voice held the warmth of that old friend. Jason Clarke gave Nyx’s surly and possessive character so much personality. And Shane East voiced Torrin giving the mystery of his character life! Samantha Brentmoor and James Cassidy rounded out this amazing cast with the supporting characters. All these voices truly brought this universe to life!

So yes. Buy the book. Buy the audiobook. Just do it. You’re welcome.

Absolute perfection!!!!

First off I love Tessa Hale. I have read/listened to everything I have found by her. I love her writing I got so excited when I saw she released another book and I was not disappointed. The story reeled me in. The humor had me cracking up. The narration was absolutely perfect Each and every narrator was perfect for their roles. I literally can't think of anything that could be improved. I cannot wait for the rest of the series!!!!!

Loved the progression!

The voice actors were so great in this!! I love Tessa Hale but this might be my favorite series overall. We meet Reese In the wolves of crescent creek. I think he is much grumpier in this book and much less tolerant. I thought I would like him a lot but he is kind of an a$$hole! Glad that we got lots of world building in this book but I am really looking forward to more spice in the next few! Can’t believe I have to wait until next year!! 😩
