Engaging Story with Charming Characters, Witty Dialog & Plenty of Plot Twists
Great listen. Loved the narration by the author who is a natural at it. Plenty of twists and surprises in the plot to keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat. Loved the characters. Jasper and Salt are the consummate buddies that drive the storyline and keep you laughing at their banter. The book had an original and interesting setting. Best descriptor would be a “medieval western” (minimal technology with horses and cowboy). Enjoyed the story immensely. Will recommend to family and friends, especially young adults. (Book had mild romance and violence but no cursing or sex.). Looking forward to the next book and the continued adventures of Jasper and Salt!
