Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Chantal Fernando comes the latest in the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series featuring a red-hot romance and plenty of mystery!

Ranger is at a crossroads: He has a chance to leave the motorcycle club and do something else with his life - but he keeps getting dragged back. When the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club asks for his help, Ranger agrees, not only because it is hard to say no to them but also because he has a vested interest.

A woman is missing.

And Ranger knows her.

The Wind Dragons aren't the only ones hoping this girl can be found - on the hunt is Johanna Chase, a stubborn detective who won't give up until the missing woman is found safe. She needs Ranger to navigate the underground world of motorcycle clubs, and immediately sparks fly. Ranger fights the attraction. He has no plans on going there, no matter how beautiful and badass she is. A biker and a cop? Ridiculous.

But the two of them soon realize that they're in way over their heads, and now they have to trust each other in order to save her. With the WDMC and the police force at their back, it should be no problem, right?

Important missing details!

Unfortunately, all of this series in not available on audio. In order to be 100% in track, you would have to read, at least, two of the three novellas, in the series;4.5and5.5. If you haven’t read these, you will be confused ,at the beginning of this novel. Things you need to know before listening to book 6.
Spoiler alert for the 4.5 and 5.5 novellas, only available in print.
1. Talon and Tia are now a couple
2. Slice, from the Wild Man MC has been betraying his club.
3. Due to Slice’s betrayal, the Wild Man MC has been disbanded and Talon and Ranger have been allowed to join the Wind Dragons MC.
Now you should be able to start book 6 and not be lost. This is one of the best books, in the series, I shed tears, more than once..I sure hope there are more books released, in audio, in this series.

Love Narration-not so fond of plot

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Any book narrated by Sebastian York is time isn't a waste of time lol. However, I was a little disapointed by the story line. I would have loved to read about Tanen (I think that's how it's spelled) and Tia's story. Not sure why this would be focused on Ranger. Also, not sure if the author forgot the names of the children lol. The epilogues are usually years later and don't know if anyone else has noticed Ana's epilogue mentions her daughter being named after Lana. Then Bailey's other daughter, and even Sheyla's have a different name on this book. It's as if the author lost track of the names and stories. Also, when did Faye get kidnapped? No mention as to how many years had passed by since Vinny's daughter was born, so it's kinda hard to keep up with the story.

What does Sebastian York and Eva Christensen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian York brings tremendous value to any book he narrates because he keeps most readers engaged (also Zachary Webber!) . I've listened to books with poor narrators and I can't even finish listening to it so he definitely brings value to the series. I was glad to see he had more parts in this book.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest this being the last book in the series. While I loved the Wind Dragon's characters, I feel like another book would be distant from those main characters. She has great talent as an author, I would love to read a new series even if they do a quick mention of this one. Extending to these books would be overkill

A great romance

Crossroads is a great story and a wonderful romance. Ranger and Jo are strong, independent characters. I hadn’t read any other books in this series, but I didn’t feel lost. The larger cast just felt like a warm and caring family.

Wild Dragons Series

I enjoyed the series, but like others I was really disappointed that in the first few books (in this series) Sebastian York's part was next to nothing. There are many listeners, like me, who buy Audio books because Sebastian York is narrating. For the description to be less than honest about his involvement feels deceptive. The description should have said featuring Sebastian York or pro log narrated by Sebastian York. Fortunately, Wolf's Mate and Crossroads had Sebastian York doing at least 50% of the narration and it enhanced the story and the characters. Eva Christiansen is very talented, and did fine job in all the books. However, she has a habit of going a little over the top with some of the female characters, giving the narration a too loud stilted quality and oh Eva you are so much better than that .

Kind of... Bland

It was an ok conclusion to the series, and I overall liked it and liked the series, but... for a book with human trafficking, kidnapped women, an "outlaw" MC, and a cop, there wasn't a lot of action and a lot of the drama felt manufactured.

SPOILER:

Cousin was kind of a nitwit, living in a fantasy land. And the ending was way too pat and easy.

Awesome Series

Love MC books and this series was great the only thing I would change would be a lil more thriller/action in the MC life I guess that my dark side talking lol... but dang I love all these characters especially Faye... wish Ranger wouldn’t have ended the way he did with that last life decision he made.. but I guess it had to be done... I still love this Series and book

The worst in the series

She should have written this as a novella and Tia and Talon as a book. This was pretty boring as the series goes. It just kept going. I feel the author missed some opportunities to make the story more exciting. She could have at least showed the other characters lives to give a glimpse into their lives. I like the series but was very disappointed in this one. It was just blah.

uh- story dragged

I am a huge Wind Dragon MC book fan. Ranger has been a favorite of mine since he was introduced in Arrow and Anna's story, so I was super excited for him to get his own story. His started out great. I liked the dynamic between him and Jo. However, the story dragged and was probably a good 10 chapters to long.
