Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling author Chantal Fernando comes the latest in the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series featuring a red-hot romance and plenty of mystery!

Ranger is at a crossroads: He has a chance to leave the motorcycle club and do something else with his life - but he keeps getting dragged back. When the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club asks for his help, Ranger agrees, not only because it is hard to say no to them but also because he has a vested interest.

A woman is missing.

And Ranger knows her.

The Wind Dragons aren't the only ones hoping this girl can be found - on the hunt is Johanna Chase, a stubborn detective who won't give up until the missing woman is found safe. She needs Ranger to navigate the underground world of motorcycle clubs, and immediately sparks fly. Ranger fights the attraction. He has no plans on going there, no matter how beautiful and badass she is. A biker and a cop? Ridiculous.

But the two of them soon realize that they're in way over their heads, and now they have to trust each other in order to save her. With the WDMC and the police force at their back, it should be no problem, right?

Important missing details!

Unfortunately, all of this series in not available on audio. In order to be 100% in track, you would have to read, at least, two of the three novellas, in the series;4.5and5.5. If you haven’t read these, you will be confused ,at the beginning of this novel. Things you need to know before listening to book 6.
Spoiler alert for the 4.5 and 5.5 novellas, only available in print.
1. Talon and Tia are now a couple
2. Slice, from the Wild Man MC has been betraying his club.
3. Due to Slice’s betrayal, the Wild Man MC has been disbanded and Talon and Ranger have been allowed to join the Wind Dragons MC.
Now you should be able to start book 6 and not be lost. This is one of the best books, in the series, I shed tears, more than once..I sure hope there are more books released, in audio, in this series.

Love Narration-not so fond of plot

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Any book narrated by Sebastian York is time isn't a waste of time lol. However, I was a little disapointed by the story line. I would have loved to read about Tanen (I think that's how it's spelled) and Tia's story. Not sure why this would be focused on Ranger. Also, not sure if the author forgot the names of the children lol. The epilogues are usually years later and don't know if anyone else has noticed Ana's epilogue mentions her daughter being named after Lana. Then Bailey's other daughter, and even Sheyla's have a different name on this book. It's as if the author lost track of the names and stories. Also, when did Faye get kidnapped? No mention as to how many years had passed by since Vinny's daughter was born, so it's kinda hard to keep up with the story.

What does Sebastian York and Eva Christensen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian York brings tremendous value to any book he narrates because he keeps most readers engaged (also Zachary Webber!) . I've listened to books with poor narrators and I can't even finish listening to it so he definitely brings value to the series. I was glad to see he had more parts in this book.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest this being the last book in the series. While I loved the Wind Dragon's characters, I feel like another book would be distant from those main characters. She has great talent as an author, I would love to read a new series even if they do a quick mention of this one. Extending to these books would be overkill

great stpry

Ranger was an odd duck in the MC and now I know why. He's smart as hell with a background that's less than ideal and meets Joe, a police officer that changes him. Their experience searching for her cousin was interesting but I wouldn't enjoyed more interaction with the cartel. I wish there was more drama with her position at the force too but that's not what this story was about. The narrators were excellent too.

Couldn’t finish the book.

I just couldn’t get into the story. Spent 2.5 hours and it just didn’t keep my interest.

Narrators are great. I like listening to both of them.

Couldn’t put it down

I have loved all the MC books except two. Talon’s story with Tia was too short and I wasn’t a fan of Irish’s story at all, but Ranger and Jo makes me excited to read/listen to the last few books. What a great story.

4.5 Stars - the cop and the biker ‘swoon’

Sparks fly as Ranger agrees to help police officer Johanna Chase to find her missing cousin (also an old friend of his). Opposites most definitely attract, and the tension is palpable as Johanna fights her attraction to a member of the Wind Dragons MC. She’s a cop, and for all intents and purposes he’s a criminal. But the attraction is strong so the inevitable happens. Lots of action, sexy time, and a huge big spanner in the works that prevents a full on romance blossoming. Can they overcome all the roadblocks and get their happy ever after? Got to say Ranger is a perfect MC book boyfriend, and with Sebastian York narrating, he make for a drool worthy main character. Narration also from Eva Christianson, the perfect Johanna.
