Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Chantal Fernando comes the latest in the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series featuring a red-hot romance and plenty of mystery!

Ranger is at a crossroads: He has a chance to leave the motorcycle club and do something else with his life - but he keeps getting dragged back. When the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club asks for his help, Ranger agrees, not only because it is hard to say no to them but also because he has a vested interest.

A woman is missing.

And Ranger knows her.

The Wind Dragons aren't the only ones hoping this girl can be found - on the hunt is Johanna Chase, a stubborn detective who won't give up until the missing woman is found safe. She needs Ranger to navigate the underground world of motorcycle clubs, and immediately sparks fly. Ranger fights the attraction. He has no plans on going there, no matter how beautiful and badass she is. A biker and a cop? Ridiculous.

But the two of them soon realize that they're in way over their heads, and now they have to trust each other in order to save her. With the WDMC and the police force at their back, it should be no problem, right?

Important missing details!

Unfortunately, all of this series in not available on audio. In order to be 100% in track, you would have to read, at least, two of the three novellas, in the series;4.5and5.5. If you haven’t read these, you will be confused ,at the beginning of this novel. Things you need to know before listening to book 6. Spoiler alert for the 4.5 and 5.5 novellas, only available in print. 1. Talon and Tia are now a couple 2. Slice, from the Wild Man MC has been betraying his club. 3. Due to Slice’s betrayal, the Wild Man MC has been disbanded and Talon and Ranger have been allowed to join the Wind Dragons MC. Now you should be able to start book 6 and not be lost. This is one of the best books, in the series, I shed tears, more than once..I sure hope there are more books released, in audio, in this series. -V from Kansas

Love Narration-not so fond of plot

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Any book narrated by Sebastian York is time isn't a waste of time lol. However, I was a little disapointed by the story line. I would have loved to read about Tanen (I think that's how it's spelled) and Tia's story. Not sure why this would be focused on Ranger. Also, not sure if the author forgot the names of the children lol. The epilogues are usually years later and don't know if anyone else has noticed Ana's epilogue mentions her daughter being named after Lana. Then Bailey's other daughter, and even Sheyla's have a different name on this book. It's as if the author lost track of the names and stories. Also, when did Faye get kidnapped? No mention as to how many years had passed by since Vinny's daughter was born, so it's kinda hard to keep up with the story.

What does Sebastian York and Eva Christensen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian York brings tremendous value to any book he narrates because he keeps most readers engaged (also Zachary Webber!) . I've listened to books with poor narrators and I can't even finish listening to it so he definitely brings value to the series. I was glad to see he had more parts in this book.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest this being the last book in the series. While I loved the Wind Dragon's characters, I feel like another book would be distant from those main characters. She has great talent as an author, I would love to read a new series even if they do a quick mention of this one. Extending to these books would be overkill

Solid Story!

I really like Ranger, and while the cop and bad body is a common trope, it was good to get a break from the MC day to day drama with this story. I also felt like the sex scenes were hotter, which is always good. Overall solid series, with just a few little weak links.

Love this series!

I’ve actually listened to this series twice and I love it so much! This book was great and actually has a different tone than the rest of the series which is a nice change. Starting the last book now! I’m sad it’s over but I realized that there are other books that are an extension of characters in this same story so I’ll start on those next.

I didn't love it.

Seriously, I thought I didn't like some of the other heroines in this series but this one is the worst. In the beginning, she's a "badass" cop (her opinion of herself) and doesn't need anyone and can do "anything a man can do"....then she does a 180 and depends on him emotionally for everything? Honestly, why do women want to be like men? Can't they just celebrate and be proud of being women????? Starting to think that heroines are a problem for this author. I think Ranger is one of the best heroes in the series, though. Oh, and Eva narrates Johanna in the weirdest staccato monotone--- in order to sound like a cop, I guess. And I'm pretty sure the H isn't supposed to be pronounced in Johanna.

Why can’t Cops date Bikers???!?

Talk about conflicting careers and lifestyles! In the real world, wouldn’t it be discrimination to fire a law officer for living with an MC member? But in the the romance world, love conquers all. No need to say how awesome the narration was considering the top notch voice artists. 👍🏻👍🏻 TWO THUMBS UP!

great story

I didn't like the ending though, other options were there to explore. Really wish the author would have went that direction.

BEST ONE IN THE SERIES!!!

I really enjoyed this story in the series. I loved that the POV was equally from both main characters.

Story is good, however...

Female narrator uses the most annoying staccato tone for the heroine. Couldn't get past it.
