Crooked Halo
Kit has had a rough life. Given a choice, hang or get hitched, she chooses to get married. on the straight and narrow she finds her husband with another woman. She runs, with her twin brother, right back into the life she left behind. During her journey her past catches up with her.
Should she take a chance on a love she's always wanted or go back to her husband?

everyone is deceitful
Cat was the lesser of the two evils (between Sophie and Cat) but I didn't like her either.
Jacob was a liar and theif and master manipulator and I despised him
In the end they were all backstabbers of varying degrees. Cat's brother was a weak accomplice. Huge cliffhanger, but I have no desire to go further with this immoral bunch.I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.
