Who Started the Wildfire?
The peaceful tranquility of Colorado's Rio Blanco county along the White River is shattered as a massive forest fire rages through the pristine wilderness. At the center of it all is a controversial land swap between the Forest Service and a wealthy developer, leading to a fishing lodge being ground zero for the out-of-control blaze.
Colorado Bureau of Investigation Agent Buck Taylor is called in by the governor to lead the investigation into the arson. But as the evidence starts to point towards a radical and violent environmentalist group, Buck isn't convinced that they are the true culprits. When a murder victim is discovered among the ruins of the lodge, Buck knows there is more to this case than just a forest fire.
Complicating the investigation is a small mountain community of survivalists, with a big secret to hide. With time running out and the pressure mounting, Buck and his team uncover a web of deceit and betrayal, revealing that other fires in the area may also be connected. As they race against the clock to find the killers and prevent further devastation, Buck must fight to protect the community from an impending environmental disaster.
