Get out your spreadsheet...
I really liked the 1st book in this series. it was fast-paced, interesting and a good listen. And I've thoroughly enjoyed other books by this author.
Not so much this installment. With the constantly changing locations, complete with excruciating descriptions which do nothing to either add to the plot or move it forward (yawn)... and new characters introduced and eliminated every 10 minutes (confusion)...and way too many details of computer machinations (tech-brain-freeze)...I really thought a spreadsheet could have been helpful if I'd been interested enough.
This book FINALLY came together in the last three minutes. By that time, I really didn't care anymore.
I must give the narrator credit, though. He sailed through the dizzying array of accents, foreign names and locations with ease. Kudos.
There is again a teaser in the last 30 seconds, supposedly to drum up interest for the next in the series...but I'll give it a miss.
