Publisher's summary

I just met the girl of my dreams. Megan Davenport is funny and smart, and she's as much of an insomniac as I am. She's also my team captain's little sister, which I only found out after our passionate kiss. Megan is completely off-limits - her brother makes that very clear - and I know better than to think I can keep a relationship going during hockey season anyway. But that doesn't mean we can't be late-night friends, right? The only problem is, love makes you do crazy things, like breaking all the rules.

The male narrator is terrible at women's voices.

I like this series a lot, but I have a really hard time listening to the guy doing horribly whiny high pitched women's voices.
The story itself was just OK. I had a hard time liking the main guy character... He kept making stupid decisions and didn't seem nice.

Back and forth

Wow is this book frustrating. How many times can one guy show interest, then pull back? About 10 times in this book is the answer. The H and h were actually quite good together but the constant hot and cold from Dane got really old. And all of his reasons were totally crap. Blaming himself for his ex gf’s bad decisions was ridiculous. And his family problems too. It was a rather lazy plot

Great addition to series

Only complaint is the male performance on female speaking parts was little annoying but overall great job and love the series.

It was okay.

Very predictable. If you read the first two you pretty much have read this one. The man's voice is horrible and his female voice is even worse.

Crazy Pucking Love

I have enjoyed this series.
But I have to say the male narrator is terrible with female voices. He made them sound like they were croaking. It was hard to listen to. But overall the story was still good.

Terrible female voices by male narrator

Good book but... I agree with other reviewers, the female voices by the male voice actor are ridiculous

I understand!

Good story but I understand what everyone else was saying about the male narrator. His girl voice was not the best.

Good book but...

I enjoyed the story, but the male narrator ruined it for me. He wasn’t awful but when he would read for the female characters it was so nasally and ditzy. It was so different from the way the female narrator was reading the character it was distracting.

Not as good as the previous book in the series

I enjoyed this book. Before I started it, I thought I wouldn't like Dane because of the previous book but I found I liked him from the beginning. Then, he started with the whole hot and cold thing and I was over him. He was so sweet but the whole thing with his family and his ex-girlfriend was stupid. Why is he being the parent? And why was what his girlfriend did his fault? It really made me mad when he told Megan he couldn't date her but then continued to do the hot/cold thing. Why not just leave her alone? Seriously. I loved Megan in the first of the book. I loved how she just let her geek flag fly but when she kept taking Dane back over and over, I was done with her too. And the way she let Beck talk to her and Dane, no, Just no. Neither one of them really redeemed themselves in my book. They were my least favorite couple in the book. I hope the last book in this series is better.

As far as narrators go, I didn't have any problems with them. I'm probably one of the few that doesn't really mind Alexander Cendese. I fould Kate Waldren a little slow at times but that might have just been the story. She was over all okay though.
