The Lakota, like so many other Native American nations, found themselves pushed onto reservations, their freedom and way of life rapidly disappearing. It was here that Crazy Horse would meet a sad end. Stabbed in the back (both literally and metaphorically), Crazy Horse died as he had lived: a warrior unwilling to bend. This is his life—this is his story.
