Publisher's Summary

Hadley Jacobs is over Machlan Gibson.

Sure, she’ll always be a little weak to the dimple in his right cheek and the way his five o’clock shadow makes him ruggedly handsome. But that’s not enough to cover every other thing about him because they all drive her nuts. Like how he won’t admit he’s wrong even when he knows it and how he drives his stupid car a million miles an hour on wet asphalt. As she rolls back into town and takes a seat at Crave, she won’t take the bait. She’s over him. Mostly.

Machlan isn’t over her.

It’s not because he hasn’t tried. He reminds himself over and over that she’s not the girl for him. After all, she drives him insane with her sassy attitude and the way she calls him out on everything. She beats him at poker, even though she doesn’t know the difference between a straight and a flush, and when she looks at him with her bright, blue eyes, it’s unnerving. When she climbs onto that bar stool and orders a drink, he puts it in front of her and ignores the sparkle in her eyes. He’s not over her, but she won’t know that.

But she does know that. And he knows she’s not as over him as she’s pretending to be. When life forces their hand this time, there’s more on the line than a pile of poker chips. It’s their forever.

Crave is a second-chance standalone romance in a new small-town, blue-collar series from USA Today best-selling author Adriana Locke. Join listeners everywhere as they fall in love with the delicious Gibson Boys.

Such amazing narrators, wonderful story!

I have never listened to books narrated by Kai & Wen. As soon as I started listening, their voices drew me in, as did the storyline. I have found my new fave narrators, most definitely and will want to listen to more audiobooks done by them. The way they did this story each doing the male and female characters respectively was the highlight for me and Kai's beautiful deep voice just sealed the deal!! I kid you not.
So much to love about this amazing and beautiful story of family, love, the past, the present, what ifs and whats to come!
Machlan, what on earth are you doing??!! I often wondered this but then he would endear himself and all was right again!
I really loved both Machlan and Hadley! We learn some things that occurred in the past and you get the feeling they really are not over things between them but can Machlan go after what he wants or does he run?!
Lets just say this story has quite a few bumps and some drama but what it all comes down to is family and who you need by your side!
I also absolutely loved Nana and Peck! Everything they said was just so good you cant help but want to know more from them both!
Crave is a heartfelt read that will pull you in till you come out at the end feeling like all is hopefully right in the world!
The support network in this book is gold and I think the author has nailed this story to perfection!
An absolute must listen audiobook!

Love This One in Audio!

Dual narration is normally not my thing, but I love it with Adriana Locke’s stories, and I love these two narrators!

I have a "thing" for bartenders, so I have been looking forward to Machlan Gibson. We know him as the youngest of the Gibson boys, the owner of the local bar- Crave, and the quiet and moody one. What we don't know, until this story, is the heartbreakingly beautiful story of why Machlan is so quiet and moody, including the story of his relationship with Hadley.

Hadley comes back to town to tie up loose ends with her brother's best friend, and her childhood sweetheart, Machlan. Of course, things don't go as planned for Hadley. It's fun to watch the banter and passion between the two as they both, in their own way, try to deal with the past and present feelings.

With each of these stories, we get amazing relationships with family and friends. I love how they are all intertwined. You get an amazing setting that makes you feel in the scene with the characters. This is one of Adriana Locke's better stories, and I highly recommend it, as well as the series.

Too much Drama

My goodness does the heroine makes you ashamed of being a strong female whom knows how to be an adult and overcome any trials in life. i couldn't even finish this audiobook, I couldn't, every passing second made want to year my ears off while wondering why would anyone publish such crap.

AWFUL - UNLIKEABLE MAIN CHARACTERS

No mixed feelings about this story. It was plainly put AWFUL. The male lead is a selfish wimp who treats the female lead like trash, and the female lead is a doormat that lets him get away with it. By the end she kind of grows a backbone that lasted less than a day.

It takes forever to find out the back story, so you don’t know why the main characters are the way they are, and when you do, it still doesn’t make sense why the male lead treats the female lead the way he does... He treats her like she is disposable, and something to be used and discarded. I guess some people may find this romantic, but I don’t.

I usually like the narrators, but I guessed this story just sucked the joy out of listening to them.

I am still scratching my head at the number of good reviews.

Emotional second chance

This is a second chance story for Machlan and Hadley. This is a slow burn as you learn all the different layers of why they haven’t been together. It is complicated since their lives are very intertwined since Hadley’s brother, Cross, is Machlan’s best friend. This was a great emotional roller coaster with some humor thrown in. I love the Gibson family. Once again, Kai Kennicott and Wren Ross do a great job narrating.

Crave

Crave is book 3 in The Gibson Boys series. This book is told from dual points of view by Hadley Jacobs and Machlan Gibson.

Hadley and Machlan were friends and then eventually started seeing each other when they were younger. Something happened that tore them apart.

Now years later Machlan owns a bar, and Hadley is back in town before she starts her new job. They both still have feelings for each other, but not sure if they can get over what happened in the past.

I loved the banter between both Machlan and Hadley. We learn what happened in the past and how both Machlan and Hadley handled it. When Machlan and Hadley start hanging out again, their feelings for each other get stronger again.

What happens when Hadley has to go back to her new job? Will Machlan and Hadley be able to get over what happened in the past? Will Machlan and Hadley get their happy ever after?

I loved this book and can't wait to see what happens in Peck's book!

Oh those Gibson boys!

Oh those Gibson boys! Second chance love stories are my jam, and Crave is just that, filled with Locke's trademark humor and angst. Although it's part of a fabulous series, and would read just find as a standalone, I do think you'll rush to read the others after meeting the family. Fan favorites Nana and cousin Peck are of course there, the former holding the family together with weekly dinners and fried chicken, and the latter for comic relief (and oh is there comedy!). I was blown away by Machlan and Hadley's story- when a certain event from their past was revealed, I gasped because I absolutely didn't see it coming. Both a sweet and a heart-wrenching story, Crave is a must-read! And it gets us one step closer to Peck's book! Narrators Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross ae phenomenal as always- I love their work together. They preform duet narration, which is my absolutely favorite audiobook experience.

Great Read

Crave (The Gibson Boys #3) was another great read by Adriana Locke. Hadley comes back to town and is more determined then ever to prove to herself that she’s over Machlan. But Machlan has never gotten over her, although he’ll never tell her that. Life and fate intervene and forces them together. I loved reading Hadley and Machlan’s story and can’t wait to read more by Adriana Locke.
