Publisher's summary

Determined to hide a fear too embarrassing to admit, recently evicted Kat Bennett accepts an impromptu offer to crash with her brother's best friend and player extraordinaire Logan McCabe. When things heat up between them, spitfire Kat decides to embrace temptation rather than fight it. A steamy fling might be just the distraction she needs from her own problems. And who better to fling with than a gorgeous Australian who's only in the country for a few months?

Logan loves his no-strings-attached lifestyle. Or at least he did until Kat, a woman he has always been attracted to but vowed not to touch, moves in with him for the summer. Even though getting to know beautiful, fiery Kat heats his blood and shoots his relaxed vibe to hell, Logan is determined to keep his word and his hands to himself.

But Kat plans to prove some promises are meant to be broken. Will living with Kat for the summer convince Logan it's time to start playing for keeps, or will their unexpected love crash and burn?

Fun and flirty

A fun love story. Loved the flirtation and reading between the characters. The narrator did a wonderful job with the Aussie accent. I received a complimentary audio and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Kat and Logan

This is the second book in the Silver Bay series and although you could listen to it as a standalone I personally feel you will enjoy it more if you listen to them in order.

I first met Kat and Logan when I listened to the first book in this series and I wanted them to get together then but it wasn't to be. Instead, and as it turns out and for the better, they now have their own book. Logan worked as an adventure guide and surfing instructor at the La Vida de Ensueno resort in Costa Rica which is owned by Pax, Kat's older brother. Logan is sexy and charming but in his own words, he Does Not Stick he has to be carefree, and Kat was decidedly unimpressed with his laid-back attitude and player reputation, which as it turned out was not entirely true.

Logan is now in Silver Bay to help her father set up a charitable foundation, Logan will only be in town for a few months but a temporary fling seems to suit them both because Kat is suddenly in need of a place to stay and Logan offers to let her Crash with him.

Logan is a complex character, he is so much more than his good looks and charm, though he has that in spades. At first, he's resistant to a fling, he feels he will only hurt Kat when he leaves because he will most definitely leave. He has a deep-seated sense that he has nothing to offer a woman like Kat. As for Kat she is a strong, thoughtful and giving she's like a bundle of dynamite who gives as good as she gets, but also has her own hang-ups.

There is plenty of laugh-out-loud humor, lively banter and incredible chemistry between these two. There is also sweetness, tenderness, gentleness, and plenty of surprises in store as Kat and Logan work together to set up SAS. I loved Kat and Logan's camaraderie, their personalities, both individually and together, they were like Ying and Yang, meant to be together.

The narration by Elizabeth Klett was done beautifully she brought each character to life and added immensely to my enjoyment of this book.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing this review.

LAUGH-OUT-LOUD WONDERFUL

CRASHING TOGETHER is the second book in the Silver Bay series. They will need to be read/listened to in the order of release.

I loved watching (listening) as the sparks became flames, and then an uncontrollable inferno. I knew with these two personalities it had to be fun, flirty, and a bit outrageous. I was not wrong and I was not at all disappointed in the results.

As expected, there is plenty of laugh-out-loud humor. There is also sweetness, tenderness, gentleness, and plenty of surprises. I loved Logan and Kat – individually and together. They were meant for each other!

The narration: Elizabeth Klett did a beautiful job of narrating this story. I’m looking forward to listening to her again. (At least I hope she will be doing the third book.)

Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Very Fun

The first book was very sweet. Well, Kat is sweet, but she is a tigress. We get to see multiple sides this time and she didn’t disappoint. Logan is a great lead man that aims to please.
This is a story with secrecy, but nothing nefarious. Very fun moments that certainly made me giggle.
