Publisher's Summary

After the horrors of D-Day, Lt Dick Coward and Sgt Tom Price find themselves plunged into even greater chaos as they land in the deceptively tranquil countryside around Arnhem, as part of Operation Market Garden. What should be a pushover turns into Britain's biggest military disaster of the Second World War. But if it's a cock-up, by golly is it a glorious one. Rarely if ever have Allied soldiers acquitted themselves better than in their bid to capture "The Bridge Too Far." As usual Coward and Price are in the thick of it. If Coward doesn't get a VC this time, he'll be booted off the family estate, and stand no chance of winning the heart of the fickle Gina.

Funny Fiction with plenty of history too

Really enjoyable, with quite a bit of adult humour. The main character is involved in lots of Market Garden related fights with plenty of interesting WW2 factoids along the way. It must have taken a lot of research to write, but it's so well written that you forget about all that and just enjoy it.
