Welp that was intense, I didn’t see that coming.
The poor dog… Who treats their dog like that, I am glad they got a new home.

Nichelle sure gets into a lot of pickles but the theme I am noticing is that she is so honest people trust her. I think that is what makes her a great crime reporter. Her job isn’t always easy but she is always fair.

I am really enjoying this series, the mystery of who done it to the characters and even the love interest. I have a theory about Joey, and Kyle being so up in Nichelle’s personal life I don’t see that ending well.

Another hit for Therese Plummer she is killing it with the narration.

The Best in the Series...

I absolutely loved this plot! While not realistic, Cover Shot is a perfect example of why fiction exists. Both Walker and Plummer deserve more than 5 stars in my humble opinion! Worth a credit if you are into this series. If you’re new to this series I recommend reading the books in order so you understand the back stories. I have enjoyed all the books in the series and highly recommend!

Why only 7 books?! Just finished #5 and on to #6. Love them! Try this series, you won't be disappointed.

Highly entertaining

I love these books but I get impatient at the end. There's always a lot of action and drama and it all happens in a few minutes. It's both frustrating and satisfying at the same time. As always Therese Plummer does a great job as narrator.

I love this series and I am hooked. Hopefully there are more to come to read or listen to.

I love the suspense, and that as a reader you couldn’t figure out who was the killer and I love Nichelle’s character.

Series Fan

I like this series a lot. I like how it takes an initially seeming simple plot and delivers twists and turns along the way. it is definitely a "But wait, there's more", kind of storytelling. Nichelle is a great lead character. She's quirky enough to stand out, and rational enough to be likable. The narrator does a good job bringing the characters to life and giving the story dimension.

Better than the previous

This book is better than the last book in the series. I like the way the characters are growing. The way the story unfolds I didn’t guess who the killer was until “Louis” did

This killing me!

I love this series…how do you ever pick between Kyle and Joey? I can’t wait for the next.

Not my favorite

I will continue to love her stories but found I got lost several times wondering why this or that was important… I don’t think it was me. Now off to buy another!

Very disappointed in the story and the performance. The reader and the story I only gave one star.
