loved it

it is a delightful story with just enough angst to make it entertaining. fun and extremely pleasant. leaves you feeling light hearted. getting the next one. I am glad I found this series once it is complete so I don't have to wait to read the next even though these are completely independent novels

sweet story.

just really sweet and innocent. no raunchy sex scenes as would be appropriate for the time period. it no Jane Austen, but it is entertaining.

Loved

This is such a great book! After reading Seeking Persephone I really wanted to read more about Harry. I love the friendship that Harry and Athena have and watching how Athena realizes that she loves Harry. A definite must read!

Hilarious 😂

I so LOVE LOVE LOVE Adam and Harry’s relationship!!!! I absolutely adore how protective Adam is like his family. And how much he considers, Harry, a part of it❤️❤️
It is an amazing book!! Clean wholesome and refreshing!! The characters are so well written and so believable. It goes but to quickly!!

A fun read

Though I didn’t love it quite as much as the first book, this is a good and engaging read. I was fond of Harry after meeting him in book 1, and was eager to read his story. It’s a cute read, light and enjoyable without too much depth or angst. Parts felt a little forced, like Harry’s ridiculous belief that his suit for Athena would be rejected by Adam, and the swift and convenient closure at the end… but it’s all good.

I wouldn’t consider this a standalone as the character growth in the first book is fairly essential to this one. Of course, since I loved the first book, I have no problem recommending you start there 🤓

Content:
There is no foul language or sex. There is some violence (and threat of violence), but it’s not excessive. The romance is limited to a couple of chaste kisses, but a bad guy attempts to force the FMC into a compromising situation. There are references to Greek mythology. There is no real mention of faith or God.

Narration 👎🏼

The only reason I didn’t return this right away was because it was all I had to listen to on my drive. The narration can ruin a book. I’m not understanding why these aren’t narrated by an English man/woman. And I could barely recognize these characters from Book #1 with the change of narrators.

A sweet love story

This was a nice little story and a good sequel. I enjoyed the characters. The plot was a bit predictable but still a very enjoyable listen.

Love it

I originally read this book and loved it. I also love the audiobook especially because it makes Harry and the Duke sparring banter come even more alive. And listening to Adam flirt with Persephone is quite hilarious. I love them.

I enjoyed Courting Miss Lancaster. It is a quick read but I noted that I had a smile on my face when I closed the book. I'm not sure that I really understand the Duke and how Harry isn't intimidated by him at all. He is rather scary afterall. But I love how Harry plays right off of him. I also admit to enjoying the way Harry plays into the Duke defending those he loves. He sounds rather jovial I think but adds to the intimidation factor. I thought this was a fun read.

Loved this even more on the second reading. After reading all the books with the Duke, I have learned to love him more and more.

Good story, meh narration

I appreciate Ingram working hard to give each character a distinct voice. However, the voice she gives male characters is across the board annoying and seems disingenuous or false. It almost sounds like it is painful to make these noises, and this takes me out of the story.

Sweet Family-Friendly Historical Romance

This story is well-written and read by a decent narrator. It's family friendly, if that is the kind of title you are looking for. The characters are believable and enjoyable in their quirks. Recommended for anyone wanting a light-hearted historical romance.
