Historical times fiction

I absolutely loved these types of stories and they are clean and the reader can listen without needing to fast forward through it as you would a movie

This is such a great book! After reading Seeking Persephone I really wanted to read more about Harry. I love the friendship that Harry and Athena have and watching how Athena realizes that she loves Harry. A definite must read!

Hilarious 😂

I so LOVE LOVE LOVE Adam and Harry’s relationship!!!! I absolutely adore how protective Adam is like his family. And how much he considers, Harry, a part of it❤️❤️
It is an amazing book!! Clean wholesome and refreshing!! The characters are so well written and so believable. It goes but to quickly!!

A fun read

Though I didn’t love it quite as much as the first book, this is a good and engaging read. I was fond of Harry after meeting him in book 1, and was eager to read his story. It’s a cute read, light and enjoyable without too much depth or angst. Parts felt a little forced, like Harry’s ridiculous belief that his suit for Athena would be rejected by Adam, and the swift and convenient closure at the end… but it’s all good.

I wouldn’t consider this a standalone as the character growth in the first book is fairly essential to this one. Of course, since I loved the first book, I have no problem recommending you start there 🤓

Content:
There is no foul language or sex. There is some violence (and threat of violence), but it’s not excessive. The romance is limited to a couple of chaste kisses, but a bad guy attempts to force the FMC into a compromising situation. There are references to Greek mythology. There is no real mention of faith or God.

Good story, meh narration

I appreciate Ingram working hard to give each character a distinct voice. However, the voice she gives male characters is across the board annoying and seems disingenuous or false. It almost sounds like it is painful to make these noises, and this takes me out of the story.
