I liked the book.

I had to get use to the narrator but he was okay once I did.

Wonderful

The narrator does a fantastic job. I love his voices for each character. He makes it fun. The story and characters were great.

So Very Slow

The narrator was fantastic and was the only reason I finished this book. It took more than halfway through the book for anything to to happen. I actually went back several times to read the description of this story. I thought it was more of a story on village life than an actual mystery. The characters were cliche and flat- again the only personality came from the narration.
This was dull, predictable, and these characters have been written 10,000 times over by more talented authors. It took five hours in to get to the actual crime so many unnecessary scenes that came before the crime with so many unnecessary characters- this needed a good editor and a rewrite. Do not waste your credit or your time.

Loved the character development before the murder happened

There were so many characters that i almost had a hard time following for the first half, but it was such a great listen!

Excellent story - Exceptional narrator

the story is sweet if not a little slow but the narrator kept me engrossed. the number of voices and accents is mind-boggling and he hits every one of them perfectly bringing all the characters to life
