Socially anxious

I have always been a socially anxious person and conversation (real life or phone) has been very very tough for me but this book has given me strategies that at least make me able to cope with it all without panicking!

Able to talk to people

I HATE social situations. Well I don’t hate them, i just hate that i feel incapable of being normal in them lol! I got this about a month ago and at first ignored it but in the past week i have started to try out some of the advice and its working so far, very very happy.

Gained a lot

I gained a lot from this book. I suffer more from social anxiety than I do shyness (are they different? I think so anyway) and this book helped me get a foothold on my issues.

Well worth it

Any additional comments?

I found this book very engaging and ended up listening to it twice in a row and have already dived back to other parts when i needed more advice about social situations. Very happy with this, i feel a good bit better already and more capable.

A huge help

I have struggled with shyness / awkwardness in certain situations (mostly social) for much of my life. Even talking on the phone felt awkward. This book has been a monumental help to me. Mostly it has been helpful with always knowing what to say, how to start / respond / keep going with shall chat etc. I also just generally feel a lot more confident and assertive. I have more to go on my journey but i am so much better in the past few weeks.

First class.

A first class book which I now own in print and audiobook which should tell you how much I enjoyed it and more importantly how much value I gleamed from this.

Good narrator too which obviously helps a lot.

Liked how it dealt with shyness and gave me a lot of general social skills
