Publisher's summary

Is it better to burn out or fade away?

Oblivion lead singer Simon Kagan is used to being in the spotlight for his model good looks and his voice, not because of the epic ending to Oblivion's last show on their home turf in California. That unforgettable night rocked Oblivion in more ways than one, and now the journey back seems almost impossible.

The only bright spot is Margo. Margo, the one woman he'd been sure would never be more than a hot ride in the dark. Margo, who would never be his.

Except she is, for now. But taking one dream and trading it for another isn't supposed to hurt this much.

As long as Margo never realizes the man she fell for no longer exists, maybe he won't lose everything that matters due to just one all-consuming night.

GOOD STORY BUT I'M FEELING THE URGE TO SCREAM

And my need to scream is because Simon and Margo's love story won't end with this book, it'll settle in a fairly good place for them - but there's a lot more angst and drama to come.

After the shocking cliffhanger of an ending in the previous book Simon, Margo and the rest of Oblivion are left shattered and shocked at the heartbreaking news about Simon's voice. Margo makes a deal with the Devil (her Mother) and whisks Simon away to her family's retreat on a Caribbean Island - a retreat where Margo tenderly nurses, caringly guides and ultimately tries to helps him recover. But there's a lot of unanswered questions a to whether Simon's voice will ever be the same and a lot of unanswered questions as to where their very passionate relationship is headed.

This had A LOT of steamy sex scenes throughout as these two lovers couldn't keep their hands off each other - however there's a fragility and a certain insecurity to their relationship too. Simon doesn't know what the future holds for him musically and is terrified to find out. So they lock themselves away from prying eyes, from the fans, the paparazzi insanity that now surrounds Simon and all the worried and sympathetic looks from his friends. While Simon and Margo are enjoying the Island and each other... they are growing closer and closer each day. However, even on a private deserted beach, Simon is recognized and a whole new avenue of opportunity opens up to him - which may just be his salvation. Back home Simon makes some life-changing decisions - however, can Simon talk commitment-shy Margo into sharing more than just stolen sexual moments... could she risk it all and move in with the tamed bad boy of Rock.

Worth a credit? Yes, this was a brilliantly narrated dual POV addition to book 3... but that's where I think it should've been put - in book 3 and not dragged out over 3 books. There were some very romantic sweet times between Simon and Margo and copious amounts of hot sex which was enjoyable but I felt it was a bit of a filler to make the story longer instead of continuing the story in book 3. There was all the latest news from the other couples from Oblivion who've found love, 2 births, 1 death and Simon and Margo are in a good place right now. But I felt the ending seemed rushed and there were unanswered questions - and guess what?.... they'll be answered as Simon and Margo's story continues in book 3.7 of the series - so yet another book and yet another credit to spend before we get the much needed HEA for Simon.

Love this series!!!!

Would you listen to Consumed again? Why?

Most definitely! I love Taryn Elliot and Cari Quinn's books. They're amazing writing combined with Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross' ability to bring the story to life is absolute perfection.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Consumed?

I love the part where Simon tells Margo he loves her.

What about Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross ’s performance did you like?

Kai and Wen's narrations are the best I have ever listened to. They convey so much emotion it's hard not to get pulled into the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, once I got started it was hard to put down.

Any additional comments?

I am so in love with this series. Every book that's released is better than the last. I cannot wait wait until the next one is released. Simon has definitely given Gray, who is my favorite in the band, a run for his money. Any book in this series is definitely an auto buy for me.

Fantastic story but she's in cliffhanger

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Once again the authors have written a wonderful romantic story filled with 2 people that are trying to find their way to a loving relationship. Margo has never known love before and has a hard time accepting it because she feels that it will just be ripped away. Simon has been so dedicated to his career that there isn't time for romance. When his career comes to a sudden halt, Margo is there to help him in his recovery. Their devotion to each other is heartwarming to say the least. This will lead to some hot as Hades sex and love making. Simon is ready to commit, but is Margo ready to risk her heart. Well, we won't know because this book ends in a cliffhanger! I didn't realize this until the end. The worst part is there isn't an Audible book for the conclusion of their story, even though there are Audible books for more stories following it in the series. This is really the pits for people with vision problems that rely on audible books for their escape. I really wish authors would let you know that it ends in a cliffhanger. If I didn't love these two authors' work so much, I would quit reading their work since I would never know if it will end in a cliffhanger.

Once again Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott do an outstanding job of narration. These two never let me down. Kai's voices so fit the characters. Wen gives us such deep sexy voices that will have you swooning. Both excellently portray the emotions of these characters. They are definitely voice artists and storytellers who will bring the story to life. I recommend this Audible book for your listening pleasure.

cliffhanger going forward

Very satisfying part 2 of Simon & Margo’s story.
Kennicott & Ross do a decent job of narration but I could wish for less mispronunciations.

Fantastic Listen🎧 More Simon💘Margo Awesomeness!

I am loving this series and can not praise it enough. Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn continue to deliver interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. This book picks up right where “Destroyed” leaves off, Simon is rushed into surgery and everyone is worried and waiting to find out how he is. I loved how Margo took charge, set up R & R for him while he recouped. Also loved the one on one he had with Nick, it was great to see their special bond. It was great to see Margo and Simon grow closer and fall in love, it was also great to see Simon get his music groove back after seeing her audition for the Philharmonic. This book is well written and well plotted, there is a natural and beautiful flow to the story with many heartfelt moments, drama, a bit of angst and some hot romance. Thank you Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn for another awesome story, I am looking forward to what comes next for Simon and Margo and the rest of the Oblivion gang.

I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are fantastic narrators and voice artists. Their duet performance is amazing, it enhances the story to another level of greatness. They continue to bring these characters to life, give them their voice and personality and a whole lot of heart. Kai’s portrayal of Margo is spot on, as is Wen’s Simon, they really do them justice. It is always a pleasure to listen this dynamic duo!! Thank you for another great and entertaining listen🎧

Consumed by Music Again

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Every audiobook in the Lost in Oblivion series is wonderful. They're well-written, addicting, and have the best narration team.

Who was your favorite character and why?

That's a tough choice because I love both Margo and Simon, but I've followed Simon through so many books that it's finally good to see him get his HEA.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Margo rehearsed for the L.A. Philharmonic and Simon got his love of music back.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Get lost in oblivion and you'll be consumed.

Any additional comments?

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross really bring the characters to life.
