Very enticing and addictive
Spent my shifts submerged in the story, plotting how the story may swing, and yet never saw the ending coming. Now I really want to listen to the next audible in the series.

Boring, no chemistry
I tried to like it. I made it through book 1 and 2 and got so bored waiting for something to happen in the story that I speed it up to 1.5. It didn't help. Even the steamy scenes were boring due to the lack of chemistry. Its a bummer, I really wanted to like them since they are all free right now.

Interesting concept
The readers were terrible. Every man has the same voice and they’re all equally as awful as one another (beyond fake sounding). The author picked terrible words for the lead character’s lady bits during the more intimate scenes, and repeated them too many times. Just awful. I would have probably enjoyed reading this more than listening to it, especially if she could have been more creative with her nouns.

Another Winner for the Series
The story is great. It flows continuously, never bogs down or goes slow, the pace is perfect. The storyline is a bit unusual and very interesting. The female voice actor does a great job. The male voice actor showed some weird idiosyncrasies that he didn't in the first one. It was not always pleasant to listen to.

Even better than the first book! Rehashes the important bits, so it is ok if you missed it. Then it goes on to deliver more steamy sexy moments, along with understanding love, and of course magic!And the ending is brilliant!

I think a lot had to do with the narrators as well. Story was ok but it has holes. Maybe I’ll pick back up when my tbr list dies down.

A powerful witch that cant stand up to her dad....
Some holes and pulls in this plot line. Why can a powerful witch not stand up to her father that has no power? Like juat tell him you're getting trained by 5 hotties already, claim your estate and live HEA.
