Great book. It improves the way I see horses

It was a great book, change the way I see horses. I really recommend it to go over and over the lessons again

Another great Mark Rashid book

Mark's evolution through the books I've read so far is enlightening & thoughtful.
The narration is a bit stilted. I would wish that it was read with some feeling. I enjoy books where I am not continually reminded of the narrator's existence.
This is still definitely worth listening to.

Lovely listen that I’ll keep a long time

Sounds like it’s going to be old fashioned but really incorporates long standing horse gentling along with the authors updated insights. I really enjoyed listening to the stories and learning by example. Thank you for this book, it has greatly enhanced the relationship with my horse.

Wonderful Book on Horsemanship

This book made me laugh and cry. It is one of my favorites of Mark’s so far. The knowledge he passes along in his books are invaluable tool in helping us understand and communicate with horses. Thank you Mark for all your books and especially this one!

Great Stories and Insightful Personal Experiences

Really enjoyed listening to this during my mail route. The author is a great teller and I felt that the information shared offered practical insights to various training challenges. His methods are likely to be most received by people who are more naturally empaths rather than as opposed to black and white thinkers. It is not delivered in a "this is the only good or effective way to go about it" but rather what he has learned from experience alone. Good book.

Usable information

I learned a lot listening to this book 3 times!
Story was well written in a way that that was easy to understand.
Performance of the reader was done with appropriate emotion, I could believe it was Mark Rashid himself telling the story.
Anyone who has anything to do with horses would enjoy this book!

Enjoyed the book

I have a 40 minute drive to and from work and really enjoyed listening to Mark and his horse training knowledge. A lot of common sense and humor and I know it will help me "consider my horse" as I learn from what he has to teach me.

What a great experience.

I just love the writings of Mark. It’s a feeling as if I’m sitting and he’s talking to me. His stories are often touching and Considering the Horse has made me stop and think about the times I didn’t listen or more to the point didn’t know how to. The final chapter I found hard to lis5en to as for me it was very sad. I don’t even think you have to have horses to appreciate what Mark has to say. Just loved it.
