Well worth owning.

This is a "take what you want and leave the rest" kind of book. I found my biggest problem - the negative thinking about not falling asleep and waking up in the middle of the night. Once I relaxed about what was going on and chose to use some of his suggestions (go to bed later, eat a bowl of cereal before sleep, get up and read if I wake up) things changed. Well worth owning.

Not the least bit relaxing

Throughout I thought I was listening to narration of teen book complete with uplifting faux rock music or idk what. She's also overly wordy. age says to count backwards from a large number, such as x or y.... then counts down vroom x. My brain has to process too much trying to listen this child's book narration style hypnosis.

Fell asleep

Which was the point. Nice voice, went on a visual trip to the beach. Missed the part where I asked questions of my Spirit, but I will be listening again.

This book was the most helpful to me!

I've been working with the techniques in this book for three weeks now, and my sleep has definitely improved. It may not cure you immediately, but it really helps!! Anyway, this is certainly better than spending a lot of money (and aggrivation) on pills and sleep centers!

Life saver

Everyone who has insomnia knows that it is dehabilitating, progressive, emotional and very private. A lot of people seem to have insomnia these days, and people who suffer from it know that it can, and does, cause severe depression, painful emotional mood swings, a skewed view of reality, spirals in work quality, and it can be devastating to relationships and feelings of stability.

Good and effective

I bought this book two weeks ago because I was suffering from insomnia. Within a week, my sleep had dramatically improved. I haven't looked at the book after I was cured, but I have to say that I have NO sleep problems whatsoever!

Very good source

For the first time knew about different phases of sleep. It could be a good source of information for non-insominacs. Improvement in quality of sleep could help cope with other problems.

This is great!

For those who are serious about overcoming insomnia without the use of drugs this program is excellent. Within three weeks of starting Sleep Hypnosis I am sleeping through the night and wake feeling fully rested !

I'm a physician and I have recommended this book!

I'm a physician and I have recommended this book and given it as a gift. It helped my own daughter. As a nation we are sleep deprived and for the subset of people who find it hard to fall asleep a natural method to deal with this problem is preferable to a drug solution with all it's side effects. If insomnia is your problem, this is the first stop to improved sleep.

This book was recommended to me by a physician I was seeing about my long-standing insomnia. I found it very helpful. It allowed me to begin to relax about not sleeping. If you've ever had persistent difficulty sleeping, you know that the worst part is trying hour after hour to simply fall asleep.
