The story was intriguing, but yet powerful. The author demonstrated her resilience, tenacity, unwavering determination to move forward.

Story vs Storyteller

Very interesting subject matter, including the details of Megan’s life. As a sis straight woman with gay and trans friends, I was definitely intrigued to hear about her life’s story. The writing itself is very simple; my teenager probably could have written it just as well. I think the most challenging part of listening to this book was the AI voice.

If you want a story of transgender survival, here it is. This story did not shy away from hiding the ugly parts that make transitioning difficult. Not once was there a moment that you did not hear the pain and struggle felt along the way, and she survived.

Great story hated the narrator

As always with he AI narrator it struggles with word built from acronyms and abbreviations so you get derailed trying to figure it out when that happens. The section of the book that contains images was really odd to listen to the narration of descriptions of photos repeatedly for like 20 minutes. There were several other issues that really detracted front he story.
As for the story if you are after steamy details of sexual escapades, go elsewhere. This story line is basically explaining the road traveled by this person from childhood to retired porn star. Interesting but not riviting.
