Publisher's summary

What is a messiah? We have heard this word a lot, echoing down through the centuries. It is used by three major religions on this planet: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Who is the Messiah? What is, or what will his purpose be? And if he has already come, then what was his purpose? Will he return? This book comes from the Messianic Jewish perspective.

Excellent work

The author does a great job of reviewing the various concepts of Messiah held by the monotheistic faiths. He is mostly neutral in his presentation of each concept.

I only take issue with him referring to Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses as part of the evangelical tradition. Their teaching about Messiah is anti-Christ and is to be marked as heresy and avoided. There is nothing biblical about accepting them as brothers in Christ.

Overall, excellent book.
