Publisher's Summary

What if Anna and Elsa never knew each other?

As the future queen of Arendelle, Princess Elsa leads a life full of expectations and responsibilities - not to mention questions. What type of ruler will she be? When will she have to pick a suitor? And why has she always harbored the feeling that some critical piece of her is missing?

Following the unexpected death of her parents, Elsa is forced to answer those questions sooner than she'd hoped, becoming the sole ruler of her kingdom and growing lonelier than ever. But when mysterious powers begin to reveal themselves, Elsa starts to remember fragments of her childhood that seem to have been erased - fragments that include a familiar-looking girl. Determined to fill the void she has always felt, Elsa must take a harrowing journey across her icy kingdom to undo a terrible curse - and find the missing princess of Arendelle.

Entertaining

I honestly love a good: separated then found later troupe. I am that weird being that still loves Feozen despite obvious flaws, so the moment I knew about this book, I nabbed it.
The writer did an excellent job keeping the soul of the story strong while changing everything up and bringing beloved song lyrics into everyday thoughts and descriptions.
Whenever descriptions of the world and people popped up bringing in characters and little scenes you know well, you can't help but grin and cheer inside.

I had a lot of fun reading this. It wasn't a critical read, just a pure fun one. Five stars for the pure entertainment alone.

Not as Interesting as I Hoped

While I was looking forward to hearing what the plot had in store, I personally found this to be more of a fanfiction than an actual novel. Still an interesting retelling of the story, however, I don't think I'll continue to read the Twisted Tales series.

Amazing!

I absolutely love this book because it has the best example of how the actual movie goes. But with that, there are a lot of twists and turns in the story, unlike the movie!

good narration, hardly different story

so I have read 3 of these books so far and the Aladdin one and mulan one have been SO good. different stories that add and maybe even improve some. this one however missed the mark. the story is almost the exact same and is so easy to know what's gonna happen.

Wow! What a wonderful twisted tale

I almost love this more than the original story. It’s incredibly detailed, and has excellent character development while also sticking closely to the original stories main plot. Love love loved! I plan to listen again.

Loved the book AND audiobook!

You can’t go wrong with any of the twisted tales books! I wasn’t sure if I would like this one or not because I love the frozen movies so much, but I was highly pleased! The author and narrator were spot on, and I loved the twist and how it all came together at the end. I cannot even begin to imagine the effort it takes to make the twisted tales so flawlessly beautiful and perfect, but it has quickly become one of my favorite series! I am a diversified reader, and I cannot even begin to brag enough about these books! I haven’t read them all yet, but the ones that I have read and listened to have had me hooked from the very beginning. I strongly urge you to read or listen to one because you’ll be craving for more when you finish it! Highly recommended! 5+ stars!

Better than Frozen!

Heresy, I know :) I didn’t love the movie in terms of plot structure. But this is so delightful. Even if you loved the movie, you’ll probably enjoy this too.
