I am really happy to have this book

I am really happy to have this book, the content is very nice and basically for beginners with little or no idea on programming. It was able to provide me with basic information which i would be needing in other to get started.

This book covers all the basic points

I am a programming newbie and decided to learn Python as I'm told it is one of the easiest language to learn. I was pleasantly surprised with this book! This truly is a book for beginners and gives great content on Python. I also learn the two functional components of a computer it is the hardware and software. Suggested this book. It starts with setting up an environment both in windows and Linux. Programming concepts are explained very clearly along with examples. This book covers all the basic points identified with Linux working framework.

You're better off getting a hard copy

This book has decent information, but it is not designed to be an audiobook. There is a visual aspect to coding that is lost when the robot voice reads the code out to you.

Beginner book expects expert knowledge

The book is poorly-written . Don't waste your time. Just one example is that it tells users to run Linux commands by "clicking start and then run."

not worth it

very far from a programming "Bible" and the claim in the summary that " you will never need another programming book" is a complete lie

Very practical, full of exercises, I recommend to listen it slow, so you have time to put into practice the Learning Technology Programming.

Simple, easy to comprehend.

Fast and easy to comprehend. Presentation of a new concept at the beginner level. Repetitiveness is probably intentional in helping you to learn a new way of thinking.

Ueful for scientific applications

I can now begin to understand how this can be useful for scientific applications. It has most of what any Python beginner would need, particularly the codes. This is really worth recommending!

Really informative, yet Still Pleasant.

Very nice audio-book. Much better, the audible is. As someone who strives to become a programmer taught by himself. The guidance is breathtaking. I might just pull it off with a little elbow grease and some patience.

lots of hacking starter stuff and 5x hello world

this is a very hacking oriented book, the first thirteen chapters are devoted to hacking(!). they should highlight how much of it is d3vited to hacking and anonymity techniques. I bought it as a computer programming Bible as per the title but it just shows how to write hello world in each of the languages mentioned in the title. Very disappointed given my goal.
