Publisher's summary

Identical twins Beatrice and Bridget have often played tricks on their loved ones. They've even gone so far as impersonating each other for fun.

However, it seems they've fallen for the same marquess, and their pranks could very well cost them both a wealthy suitor.

Will he remedy the situation before their cousin settles it with a duel?

Twins

Beatrice & Bridget are identical twins. Confusion ensues when they decide for Bridget to pretend to be Beatrice on a date. Eventually the man falls for Bridget and asks to marry her, thinking he is to marry Beatrice. It is a fun story. The characters are relatable, and tend to get into mischief. This is a clean romance. The story kept me engaged, and before I knew it, the book was done. The narration was well done. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Short

This was a clean, short story about the twins in this series. I liked the twist at the end and how they resolved their disagreements in the end. I’m not sure how I like a man’s voice narrating the women’s parts, but he did do a good job with all the different voices. Im also not sure how I like the use of modern vernacular in a historical romance, but the story was still clean and sweet.

The twins deception.

After listening to several books in The Lady series, I think this one is my favorite. Twins, Bridget and Beatrice, like deceiving people by switching places. This time it gets them at odds with each other. I really like Nicholas. He is a strong, caring, handsome man.

The narrator is excellent. He does various voices. His female voices are even believable. Nice job.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the author through Story Origin.
