1st a book in series enjoyable and interesting
The back story is different. Piper reminds me of characters Stephaine Plum, Davis Way or Fortune Redding- humorous and funny. Not in love w her grandmother but it is only the first book. Story is interesting and engaging but some parts seem to drag on. I listen vs read and LOVE the narrator. I hope she uses the same one. I am definitely getting book 2.
