Donna Carver gives us a funny and interesting look at the trucking industry and the trucker's wild CB radio slang. She gets the ride of her life from the passenger seat of a "sure enough store-bought large car". She's stylin' and profilin', checking out the seat covers and watching the bushes for bears.
This book is for old timers who want to relive how it used to be.
Almost nothing is the same in trucking these days. Even when I got into it in 1999 most of these things weren't true. (And her boyfriend sounds like one of the guys who made things change so fast).
There is no story. It was mostly a "how to" book that has gone out of date.
