The original "Queen of Comedy" LaWanda Page takes a break from her usual foul-mouthed funnies to offer these pearls of wisdom - sage and hilarious - from a life well lived. Page runs the gamut of contemporary trials and tribulations, offering up bawdy barbs and banter on such wide-ranging subjects as marriage, civil rights, religion, and birth control, among others. Sane Advice is more improvisational and intimate than much of Page’s later work, but the Sanford and Sons star doesn’t lose her tough-as-nails edge.
If there is any subject on which there exists a shadow of doubt or uncertainty, your quest for wisdom and truth has ended. You have to listen to this performance...this "advice" is indubitably "sane".
