The show was an immediate smash-hit success, causing pubs to empty on a Saturday night, which was particularly astonishing since the show went out on Thursdays. Genuinely amusing though not laugh out loud funny. The content has dated and is coloured by the comedians own political views while this is deliberate it inherantly means that you occasionally find yourself unable to relate to his opinion, robbing it of some comedic potential.
