Fresh from their sell out 1996 Edinburgh "If" comedy (formerly Perrier) award-nominated show comes this four-part BBC7 Commissioned Radio series....
Showtime! is Michael McIntyre at his breath-taking best....
David Mitchell, who you may know for his inappropriate anger on every TV panel show except Never Mind the Buzzcocks....
A control freal looks for love (women who leave wet teaspoons in sugar bowls need not apply).
The brilliantly funny Dara O Briain in his funniest show yet....
Rules for being a man: don't cry. Love sport. Play rough. Drink beer. Don't talk about feelings....
You’ll already know Greg Davies as Mr Gilbert, the psychotic Head of Sixth Form in 'The In-betweeners' (Channel 4) and 'The In-betweeners Movie', and as the most out-of-shape member of 'We Are Klang' (BBC Three).‘Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog’ is Greg’s hotly anticipated debut stand-up show. A critically lauded sell-out smash hit at the Edinburgh festival where it picked up a prestigious nomination for the Foster’s Comedy Award (formerly the Perrier) followed by a 100+ date, twice extended national tour. By spending months packing this show with hilarious content whilst simultaneously paying no attention to his diet or fitness levels Greg has ensured you're about to buy a show that is funny for the right and wrong reasons. Greg Davies has also appeared on 'Live at The Apollo', 'Have I Got News for You', and 'Ask Rhod Gilbert' (BBC One), 'Mock The Week', 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks' and Frank Skinner’s 'Opinionated' (BBC Two), and '8 Out of 10 Cats' (Channel 4).
He is the best! Can't get enough of his standup. Netflix finally started streaming Cuckoo. Next, please start streaming Man Down.
I like Greg Davis. He is a very good comedian. If you have seen some of his material before then you know what to expect. As with most staged comedies with some of the gags you need a little imagination, but besides from that this audio book is good.

If you could sum up Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog in three words, what would they be?
Absolutely Fudging Hillarious
What about Greg Davies’s performance did you like?
The man is the personification of funny
Any additional comments?
Hillarious! The only Audible item that I've bought and listened to repeatedly. I first listened to it whilst in my car commuting. I cannot do this anymore as I laugh so much I lose control of my limbs! This mans hilarity knows no bounds.

This is hilarious! Greg Davies is an excellent story teller and one of the funniest people around!! I have experienced a lot of strange looks for my laughter! Also still funny the 18th time round!!!

Good and slightly different standup using many funny real world experiences from his family interactions and time as a teacher. Gregg Davis is well worth a listen.
brilliant show and i am very glad i downloaded it. Greg Davis is a genius
I laughed out loud, but naturally it lacks something when the joke relies on a facial expression or prop.
Probably the funniest live comedy I've heard in a long time. I can't listen to this while driving as I laugh too much !!
Never have I been so amused by anyone in my life. Greg reminiscing of his school days so matched the experiences of most pupils living through the 70/80s....the nick name section ....flippin excellent and bang on....he dragged up memories that I truely thought I'd forgotten....oh yes even in Norfolk schools a similar phrase of Chinny Reckon!!! did the rounds for many a term. Pure brilliance from start to finish. ....the cheeseballs situation. ..genius. would travel and travel to be entertained in this fashion and wish I'd seen the live show.
so so so funny. he makes you imagine his stories so clearly. pure nut job !!
listened to this straight through and laughed out loud unexpectedly ... even tho i have seen this on tv. its somehow different in audio. dont get annoyed by the one joke whose punchline is visual...youll miss the good stuff after.
