Publisher's Summary

When Mark introduces his date, Julia, to Chloe and her husband at a London restaurant, it's obvious something is wrong. Alex and Julia pretend not to know each other, but the shocked expressions on their faces tell another story. As the mystery of Julia's identity unravels, a terrible tragedy from 10 years ago gradually comes to light. While Chloe struggles with a secret of her own, Alex has to decide whether he should take Julia back to Australia to try to lay the past to rest, when doing so will risk all he has with the wife he loves. And Julia must decide whether to finally confront Alex with the whole truth about what happened back then. Come Back to Me is a taut psychological drama that will keep you enthralled until the very end.

Interesting Psychological Drama

The story was so compelling one could almost overlook that the narrator, although clear and with a lovely accent, had a repetitive tone as she told it.

Drudgery

If you want to listen to something you can sleep to, this will definitely work. Characters are totally unlikable with no redeeming qualities, no morals, and the immature thinking process of an eight year old. The story meandered on and on until I was begging for it to end. Nothing exciting or surprising ever happens. There are depraved people, selfish people, and annoying people. Don't waste your time. I wish I hadn't. The narrator has a pleasing voice, but simply reads the story straight through without emotion. She was probably as bored as I was.

Not worth the time

There's nothing worthwhile about this book. The story was weak, as were the women. Who tolerates the things the men did in this book?

No Plot

This book had no real plot. It was a story of immature adults who lacked communication skills and managed to complicate relationships because of it. The unraveling of those complications held the book together.

The narrator had a great accent but her monotone voice was distracting.

I have enjoyed other books by this author but this was not one of them.

Boring

Sadly this story was quite boring despite the great narration. Disappointed since many of the other books from Sara foster are really amazing.

a nail biter of suspense

OMG! right away I was sucked in to the mystery, then I was a few chapters in and screaming "What? tell me already I'm dying to know!?! excellent twists and turns, full bodies characters, and in depth conclusions to multiple story lines. absolutely excellent! I will say that in the beginning I felt the lovely narrator was too sing-song in her meter of speech (like a child reciting poetry), but as the thrill ride picked up her voice found a more casual natural flow to her tempo of speaking. that said don't let that keep you from this story, she evens out. Bravo to Sara Foster and come back to me!!!

Come Back to Me

The first chapter was great! I thought to myself,"We have a winner here!" As usual I spoke to soon, the book went from exciting in the first chapter to a snooze fest throughout the rest of the book. NO EXCITEMENT, CHARACTERS BORING!
