Extremely deep and enlightening. The author brings up great questions and has a very thorough understanding of race and history. This is a must-read for young adults up to grandparents if you want to have an understanding of colorblind laws. The narrator's voice is also very engaging and has great pacing.

Educating yourself about modern, 21st Century racial inequality is essential. And I love that books like this are coming out that give you the hard truth, plus the context, the history and the numbers to back it up. This book is direct, and I learned a ton. Great narration as well.

The brutal honesty we need to hear.

Racism is the worst sin of all. We need to love each other no matter what. There is only one race, the human race. This book was very eye opening. I wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for a close friend of the opposite race lifting his hand out to me. I hope I can do the same. Good narration on this book.
