Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Marshal has it bad, but can he figure it out before he ruins his relationship with his best friend, or will he mess up the one good thing in his life.

Zander doesn't know if he's coming or going. Life at Wild Bluff has been easy up until now. His head is spinning and his heart is aching. Can he figure out Marshal's mess before it puts them both in hot water?

Grant Stovall is in too deep. Should he turn to or away from Roger Burk? If only the answers were easy, and he could be sure. Craig is back in town, ready to serve a burn notice, destroying everything the men of Wild Bluff hold dear.

Wild bluff

This series is really good. So much is happening at wild Bluff and Marshal and Zander are coming in hot. This storyline was interesting and has so many action filled moments. So many different things happening with all the characters I didn’t want to stop listening. The narration was great starting the next book.

Hawt!

Sara has written an adventure of intrigue and sex. If you like m/m stories, grab this one. Stan Jenson put his heart and soul into narrating this one. He is a great actor.

steamy heat and action

Greed and betrayal from one of your own is a bitter pill to swallow!! Craig turned out to be a real greedy psycho! I couldn't believe the lengths he went to for his greed and turning on friends and coworkers. I enjoyed watching the couples pair off. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Wrong choice of actor

Would you try another book from Sara York and/or Stan Jenson?

No I would not. Had I listened to a preview of the audio I would not have bought this one.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

This was like listening to Grandpa reading porn. Stan Jenson's voice is nice but it is clearly an older man and as much as his voice fits the old gruff cowboy it does not fit when talking about how sexy a guy's jeans fit his rear. At least for me.

Love this book but

I love this book but the narrator doesn't match the content. Sex scenes sound like the wicked witch from Oz

Awkward read & listen

The author writes for men like they think and speak like women. She also gives more information than is needed and it strips the imagination of the reader. The performance was very distracting. While the actor has a great natural voice, his character voices sound like puny, old men. This is at odds with the descriptions and actions of the men in the story. Pass on this one.

Good story worst narration

I thought this story was interesting, lots of twists and turns. However I couldn't listen to this narrator. He made the men sound like dim witted red necks. The narrator was distracting and I had to stop listening.

love this series but the narrator leaves a bit to be desired. But easily overlooked for such a great series.

Two romances brewing...

The couples at the ranch is increasing. More and more the friends become lovers, not before fighting it though. This series takes on two couples in each book, a brewing romance and and ongoing one. It’s interesting because there is a lot happening to this merry band of non official military. I think there should be two narrators, there’s so many characters and the narrator goes a bit thin and some voices are not that attractive.
