Great overview of what collagen can do for you

Coming across this audiobook has been very timely for me, and similar to the author, I have been using collagen to help me heal from an injury. This easy-to-read guide demystifies the overwhelming and contradictory world of skincare, presenting collagen as the ultimate secret weapon for achieving radiant skin, healthy hair, strong nails, and robust joints. The book not only introduces the reader to the wonders of collagen but also provides practical insights into how to naturally boost its production without resorting to expensive surgical procedures. From detailing the health benefits of collagen to exploring the factors that cause its breakdown, the book covers a wide range of topics, including the impact of collagen on immunity, bone strength, joint health, and weight loss. With a focus on clear explanations and actionable tips, readers will discover which foods support collagen and learn how to preserve this miracle protein . . . despite the other review that criticizes the author's overview of foods, I found that part to be VERY VALUABLE! My mother is almost 90 years old, eats many of the things she discussed (such as bone broth) and looks like she's only in her 60s or 70s! So, there is definitely something to that! I also found the part about using liquid collagen, versus powdered collagen supplements to be valuable as well.
