Red Hot

I enjoyed listening to both of these stories although, they were predictable. I liked it.

Horrible Story

I'm amazed the performer could get through this ridiculous story. There is neither a hero nor heroine; instead we get an emotionally abusive man and a vapid, insipid victim. I feel set up because the epilogue
suggested a woman with a spine. The plot isn't bad it's the characters that suck. This would be a great candidate for an update.

Good two for one audiobooks

Two good storylines, great narration, and just the right length for both. My only criticism is primary male characters similar view on love and marriage; and also the appearance description for all main characters, it’s pretty much cookie cutter throughout the series.

Disappointing

I'd hoped that this book would take a more balanced tone; but - like the other "Westmoreland" and similar books by this author, the woman plays a weak, unable to control herself in the presence of a man, position. The Spencer novel was almost unbearable, the absolutely degrading position in which she placed the leading female character. A similar (but not as disgusting) tone was in Cole's RHP as well. Very disappointing that this author doesn't give a little more substance to the female characters.

Never Disappoints

Brenda Jackson is amazing and she never disappoints, her books are just good for the soul!

Westmoreland Fun

Any audible Westmoreland book is a lot of fun to hear. Ron Butler does a great job. I am used to hearing him in the Granger Series by Brenda Jackson but he had more voices to give for Cole and Spencer.
