Not bad...

The information contained in this book provides high level techniques for dealing with anxiety/stress/depression. It's a decent first read, or place to start. However, if you are looking for more solid information, I wouldn't recommend this book for a more experienced reader on the subject.

easy to follow

After being in a rehabilitation program that focuses on CBT, this book is a great refresher to help after you leave. I had a more severe case of anxiety and depression which required a more inpatient program. After I left, I struggled to keep up with the daily activities that I needed to do. This book was great to help me keep on track. I highly recommend if you can't go to into a program but want to learn the same information

practical book

What i loved about this book is how practical it is.
It clarified the theory they have for CBT! But at the same time gave very clear instructions on what one can do to APPLY this theory.
I read many books on CBT, and this was the best by far...
I would recommend you download the CBT application from the app. Store, its a GREAT tool to apply the thinking strategy of CBT in a structured way.

excellent book

I work in the mental health field and have had training on CBT and seen the results of this type of therapy. I found the book to be very easy to understandable. If a person cannot (or will not) attend therapy in person this seems like the next best thing, especially if the depression and/or anxiety is not already too debilitating. Some people will need the professional help. If someone you love would benefit from CBT then you should have this book as well. You will be better able to support this person if you understand the process, and you may find that you yourself will benefit from the skills learned. This is a workbook with room for you to enter information and thoughts. This will allow you to see growth and change on your journey to “getting your life back”. I really enjoyed this book but that might be because I already know that it can be a success story

Helpful Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Book.

I had the fundamental comprehension of CBT, This book gave the vital "preparing" that I expected to improve my insight into CBT. It is composed for a clinician, and gives the ideal adjust of hypothesis and practice, notwithstanding offering an exercise manual sort feel. Utilizing one customer's involvement all through the book was an awesome move. I delighted in perusing this book and utilize it as a source of perspective in my practice. Fantastic read. Pivotal insight. Recommend to all.
