Publisher's Summary

Are you ready to overcome anxiety, depression and negative thoughts? And take control of your mind?

If you are looking for a way to deal with your mental issues once and for all, then Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: A 21 Step by Step Guide for Rewiring Your Brain and Regaining Control over Anxiety, Phobias, and Depression is the book you have been looking for.

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a therapy that provides you with the techniques that you need in order to move past your depression, anxiety, phobias, and so much more.

Anxiety and depression are things that you will always have to deal with, but thanks to cognitive behavioral therapy you will learn the techniques that you require in order to help deal with the negative emotions that are associated with anxiety and depression.

When it comes to your phobias, thanks to the techniques you will learn with CBT, you will be able to overcome them and eventually forget that you ever had them! It will take time, and you may not overcome them while you are in cognitive behavioral therapy but if you stick to the techniques that you learn, you can continue to help yourself overcome your phobia.

The most important thing that you have to remember is that you have to keep going no matter how hard it gets! You cannot give up and you cannot back down. Giving up means that you are okay with how you react to things right now and you would not have looked into CBT if that was the truth.

No matter how hard things get, you have to keep going!

In this book you will learn:

  • What cognitive behavioral therapy is.
  • How cognitive behavioral therapy can help you with your anxiety.
  • How cognitive behavioral therapy can help you deal with your depression.
  • How cognitive behavioral therapy can help you cope with your phobias.
  • Solutions to dealing with your depression, anxieties, and phobias.
  • And so much more!

Cognitive behavioral therapy is extremely helpful as long as you are willing to put the work in!

Before you start CBT, ensure you have the time to put in the work it will require for you to reach your goals.

So, what are you waiting for? Get ready to change your life for the better once and for all, buy this audiobook today and start your healing journey!

Through the use of CBT, I was able to work through crippling anxiety and almost daily panic attacks to a place where I have been free of these chronic experiences for years. Very helpful.

Found the real live examples interesting

Very educational. Found the real live examples interesting and engaging. Particularly liked the sections about taking control of your own life to improve happiness and overall life expectancy through altering your lifestyle choices. The statistics were staggering. Would have loved to hear more about integrative complexity and Hitler/Stalin's diaries

it gives great insight into simple methods

Though this is essentially an analytical look at CBT and its myriad uses on self modifying behaviour, it gives great insight into simple methods and a deeper look at how we function as human beings. It really helped me.

it does get through the CBT process through study

This would be good for someone that was thinking of becoming a practitioner of CBT. it does get through the CBT process through case studies, so you listen to people talk about their problem and him helping them with them

it is important to find the right therapy

I enjoyed listening to this series of lectures as I have always been interested in applied psychology. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger or addiction it is important to find the right therapy and therapist to help you overcome the problem you want to tackle.

Hour chunks are just about perfect for this audio

Hour chunks are just about perfect for this audio. It would be good to have a list of all the references at the end of the audio as you would a hard copybook. As it is I have to rely on tapping the clip button then going back. Over the clips when I've finished the book.

The patients are relatable and interesting,

A well-presented book, rather than some hollow self-praising examples most self-help book includes, this one uses real recordings. The patients are relatable and interesting, think this audiobook showcases the power of a calm, friendly, warm and intelligent listener.
