A great listen!

This is a great listen for someone who's thoughts get the best of them and have problems "over thinking" and even those who drive themselves to panic attacks. This audio gives real insight to get over it and offers real help solutions.

A really good introduction

The book works well on audio. Some of it is common sense some of it requires a therapist in order to work well. Would be good required reading for group therapy. A little more than the basic self help book. More than I needed.

The perfect mental training guide,

This explores the importance of what we put in our minds to turn negative into positive by retraining our brain and behavior. It is a good step for dealing with anxiety, depression, etc. All it takes is a better step forward as the rest will fall into the right place. I give this a strong recommendation

Practical steps to working with the self

This was very good for beginners, and for people who have been considering CBT. It gave a good explanation of Cognitive Distortions, and is worth reading if one is considering therapy or self help with anxiety. This is a good introduction to CBT. It explains what it is and what it could be used for. It is however I think just scratching the surface and leaves you wanting to know a lot more

Change your brain, change your life

It's not what I thought it was about, but it was a pretty good book. The author has a lot of good ideas about mental health and I was pleased to see that he included nutrition and supplementation among his treatment plans. He has a lot of references sprinkled in and it took me about two weeks longer than o expected because wonderful book, am finding out so much that i did not know very interesting

Informing book!

Informing book! I appreciate the book’s effort to use a scientific approach; however, I found two points to consider. At some point, I am not sure if they complement each other, but, I think the book was able to justify its goals. I think as the title of the book is scientific or psychological, I was actually looking for some factual or scientific analysis in the book. Unfortunately, there is none. All in all, I appreciate the efforts given in this book.

All you need to get started

Although I am only part way into this book. It has already helped me understand myself and what is going on in my mind. The book won't cure me or get rid of my depression etc, but it will help me more effectively deal with it in every day life. it will help me understand it and help me control it.
