The Eisenwald bunker is a failing server, and the human race is down to its last few bytes of memory. For three months, Nia von Eisenwald—the software engineer turned Empress—has managed the impossible. From her deep-lab Command Center, she has optimized starvation, debugged failing air scrubbers, and maintained a planetary-scale firewall. As Malakor’s Void fleet converges for the final audit, the Administrator realizes the only way to save the hardware is to delete the operating system. To kill the virus, Nia must execute the God Slayer—a global format command that will purge the Void, but at a catastrophic cost. It will strip the world of its magic, silence the Elven songs forever, and disconnect Nia’s own soul from the vessel she inhabits.

With Aric on a suicide mission to paint the target and the bunker’s gates buckling under a legion of nightmares, Nia prepares for the ultimate stress test. The blue sky is coming, but the installer will be deleted before the rendering is complete.
