I almost stopped listening to this audio book around the tenth chapter, it dragged along and it was becoming extremely boring. I was multi tasking so it didn't drive me insane and I didn't feel like I was wasting valuable time, consequently I continued listening. It didn't become slightly interesting until almost the end and even then it feels like a cliffhanger.
The other issue I had with this book, the narration, J. River Pierce needs lots more practice and his female voice impersonation is really bad. Stephanie, she's good until she does male voice impersonation. This, along with the weak storyline earned it the weak 3 stars.
This story had so much potential, sadly it was a missed opportunity. Not sure if I want to subject my hearing to the next book in the series, to be determined...
