Fun, intriguing plot with Serge fighting the bad guys. Great thriller, I highly recommend it!

This story is more about the subplot than Serge. Still an excellent listen with great FL history.

I hate the narrator

I love Serge, but neither the Serge nor the Pimento in my head, sounds like what I hear. Can’t stand the voice, it just doesn’t fit. I know Serge better than the narrator does. Hey Tim, wtf? By the way, that doesn’t stand for Welcome to Florida.

Karma is king, be good to everyone you meet, or else. Out of no where comes Surge Storm and wrongs are avenged, things are set right.

An Easy Ride Through Small-Town Florida

Serge Storms is back, re-creating his own version of an Easy Rider vibe, going from small town to small town in rural central Florida, and finding his usual brand of trouble along the way. The kind of trouble that afflicts the small town of Wobbly in rural central Florida. With the ever-baked Coleman riding in a sidecar attached to Serge's chopper, and a sympathetic grad student in tow, Serge sets Wobbly straight (pun intented) as only he can.

Interestingly, Serge's vigilante build a better mousetrap murders are here in abundance with unusually flimsy reasons for carrying them out. Serge normally limits his killer instincts to perpetrators of serious harm on innocent victims -- he may be a serial killer but he has a moral compass that points true north. Not here though -- even some minor personal affronts unleash his vengeful wrath. Not sure how I feel about that.

Meanwhile there is a bit less history than usual -- oh, there's still lots of it, just not as much. More senseless killing, less Florida trivia -- oh what the heck, it's still hilarious as ever, a five star collaboration between Tim Dorsey and Oliver Wyman.

just as in prior stories, two completely separate situations that find their way to each other near the end. I can't get enough of these stories. there needs to be a movie, or even series.
