Publisher's summary

Ah, Valentine's Day. Love is in the air...or not.

Something is amiss in the hen house. The girls have lost that loving feeling, and Reginald and the other roosters will do anything to regain their attention, even if it means resorting to drastic measures.

Can they woo their ladies back, or is this the end of the flock as they know it?

If you like stories with talking animals (and often wise-cracking ones), then you'll love the Cocky Doodle Doo series - a barnyard comedy adventure!

Best book in the series

I have listened to this series in order and I think each one gets better than the last. This book follows the educated and resourceful Rooster named Reginald and he and his fellow roosters try to figure out why the hens don't want to give the farmer their eggs and why they won't get up from their nests. Not going to give it away, but the ending is very heart warming.
Props to the narrator who handled the chicken and farmyard animal voices perfectly.
This has been a fun series and I am glad I gave it a chance.

Chicken Parents

My kids and I thought this was a cute little story about where baby chicks come from. The story is not graphic but it may cause kids to ask questions. Lawrence Locke is an amazing narrator we love his character voices they make my kids laugh so hard. I highly recommend this book. I received this book from Audiobooks Unleashed and this is my honest unbiased review.
