At least this whole story has a happy ending, right? Of course, whether or not that's true depends a lot on your personal definitions of both "happy ending" and "whole story" but, either way, today we reach the final chapter of George Jones' life. Don't worry, it'll all be over soon.

Amazingly well done and informative podcast

The narrator/historian weaves stories and information like the finely crafted county music he speaks about. Each episode has a tone, story and feeling that brings you in and demands your attention, frequently lingering in your mind long after the podcast is finished playing.

Enormously satisfying

I was born in 1970 and grew up listening to all these artists without much context--they we're just the air we breathed. I love hearing about who was contemporary with whom and all the great stories.

A truly great podcast

if you care about American music, this podcast is for you. Tyler treats the subject with but respect and honesty. Never falling I to hero worship. He gives the best, and well cited, account possible.
