Publisher's summary

Leah Peterson’s life in New York City is not easy. The man she was going to marry has just run off, taking her savings with him. Plus, she’s been laid off from the factory where she works, and her rent is due.

When all options fail, Leah has one thing left - a leap of faith. For Leah, her leap of faith means applying to a matrimonial agency. Within days, she’s matched with a rancher in Crooked Creek, Colorado. A rancher named Clifford Reynolds - a rancher with no idea someone has arranged a Mail Order Bride for him...

Leah’s arrival is complicated by Clifford’s fun-loving brothers, his devoted but protective mother, and even by Clifford himself - who has no intention of getting married.

But love doesn’t care about intentions - and when Leah and Clifford finally start to understand each other, her leap of faith has a landing she never expected.

Clifford's Hidden Bride

This is a good Quick book to listen to. This is the first book in this series. Leah is broke and in a rough spot she goes west to marry Clifford. Clifford's brothers wrote the letter for Clifford so when she gets there he doesn't know anything about her. A lot has to happen for a happy ever after. This book holds your interest. I don't want to give any spoilers you'll have to listen to see what all happens. If you like this genre you'll love this book. I received a copy of this book from audiobooks unleashed but that has no influence on my review. If this review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

Delightful

Thank goodness they had mail order brides back then, even though it took a lot of faith to become one. To finding a groom to be that was not expecting her. Good intentions and a family. Delightful and good narration. Given audio for my voluntary review

Sweet Historical Romance

While I enjoyed this short story, I wasn't a fan of the narration.
She could use some work on her timing, and her breathing. And I wasn't fond of her high pitch.

Great book

I listened to this one on audio. I liked the idea of this story. It sets up the series very well. The characters are well developed and I really enjoyed the story. The banter of the brothers is so realistic it makes you shake your head. This is a short book you should listen to or read.
