Wonderful Globe Spanning Adventure, Perfectly Read

The story starts out a little slow, but the well chosen voice keeps it going. Once you are into the book, you realize that the slow start was necessary to give you important background, Regardless, all is forgiven in the excitement of the adventure. I look forward to reading/listening to others in the series.

Great and Entertaining Escape!

Well, an unexpected surgery had me laid up and getting weary of Netflix so I decided to hop on Audible. This genre isn’t really my style but for some reason I was in the mood for something like this once I read the plot description. I really enjoyed it! Once I got into it, I literally binged straight through the whole thing. (my cats were not amused) A lot of times I’m not happy with the reader, but I thought she did a great job and kept me sucked into the plot. I will be on the lookout for more books by this author and reader.

Difficult to listen to

The story is a little slow and unfortunately the voice is completely wrong, with the accents pretty much awful.

Cleopatra’s Tomb

Initially I wasn’t overly impressed with the narrator or the story but with time it improved. The storyline became more interesting and finally I was drawn in. The ending may have been a bit cliche but I didn’t mind. It was satisfying.
