Publisher's summary

This Christmas, a little dog is in for a big adventure....

Meet Claude. He's a loveable, big-eared, permanently hungry French bulldog who loves his humans - the McCawley family of number 11 Maple Drive, to be precise.

When Daisy and Oliver McCawley start using new words like, ferry, chateau and France, Claude realises they won't be spending this Christmas at home. Only, when he finds himself on the street as the family car pulls away, Claude realises he is alone. And, more importantly, he is without all the yummy treats he knows the festive season brings.

Cue the start of Claude's Christmas Adventure. It all begins with a belly flop through next door's cat flap, where he finds newly single craftaholic Holly; Jack the ex-army postman; his archnemesis, Perdita the cat...and serious amounts of gingerbread.

Maple Drive's cutest resident is about to bring the street together for Christmas in ways no-one could have imagined.

Four Stubby Legs... and Gingerbread

Here you go: A wonderful Christmas listen.
Jot Davies does a stupendous job voicing little Claude, a stubby legged French bulldog with a craving for, well, food and more food. And for his beloved family. The big-eared dog goes through rounds of fear, desperation, indignation (because of that plotting Perdita the cat), and hope: that there'll be gingerbread, that he won't go to the pound but will be taken into somebody's heart, that the people around him will find their way to peace.
This is a story of family. The ones we're born into, the ones we create along the way.
It's a heartwarming listen, and as I get ready for the season this year, what can I say? I've already listened to Claude's exploits twice...!

Merry Christmas, Claude!

What a sweet story for the season- I have only praise, and a new fondness for Frenchies.
